This new food truck has rolled into town dishing up delicious New Orleans-style street food; from traditional Louisiana sandwiches to southern style snacks – Rollin’ Fattie’s Po Boys.
Po boy sandwiches, dating back to America’s Great Depression, are baguettes stuffed with scrumptious fillings like barbecued shrimp and slow-roasted brisket with horseradish cream. Or try the recommended Reuben with corned beef, Swiss cheese, lettuce, onion and dill pickles.
Besides po boys, Rollin’ Fattie’s serves a selection of tasty tidbits - Mac n Cheese poppers served with smoked tomato aioli, grilled corn with chipotle butter, pickled watermelon salad and cheesy grits with chorizo crumb, jalapeno and pecorino – and Cajun cuisine like popcorn shrimp with Louisiana remoulade, Creole shrimp and chorizo jambalaya and chicken and smoked pork sausage gumbo.
Rollin’ Fattie’s is hitting the streets with breakfast fare too. Choose between cheesy, creamy grits, poached egg, chorizo crumb and crisp kale, smoked maple bacon and egg roll with apple cabbage and Creole hollandaise, and Bananas Foster French toast - French toast inspired by the Big Easy with bananas, brown sugar, cinnamon and a hint of rum.
