I Love Mushrooms.organics is a unique mushroom-themed eatery that pops up weekly at various leading markets around Brisbane.

On the menu are a range of delicious great value organic mushroom and superfood-based dishes, most of them vegan and gluten-free, with all of the healthy ingredients sourced within a 400km radius by the owner.

Not only is I Love Mushrooms a slice of mushroom lovers heaven but it is also guaranteed to convert any who try the food on offer to being fans.

Popular dishes include: Salade - avocado halves on a bed of seasoned chickpea and red currant cous cous or fig lemon infused quinoa, with sautéed mushrooms; the Boat – gourmet mushrooms sauteed in Spanish virgin olive oil and white wine or South Pacific organic coconut oil with capsicum and julienne shallots and the Organic Superfood Fundu (the lot) – same as the Salade but with olive oil and red bean spinach salsa. There's also the option of adding your own hommus, tahini, yoghurt or sour cream.

Meat eaters haven't been forgotten, with the Glam Lamb – Darling Downs lamb shanks cooked for 18 hours in paprika and tomato rub, served on a bed of cous cous with mushrooms and seasonal vegetables.

And for something simple and tasty there are Cups – gourmet sautéed mushrooms in a cup – which make the perfect snack.

All dishes can be individually self-seasoned with medicinal add-ons such as Celtic sea salt, Indonesian cracked pepper, dukkah, Moroccan spice and chilli flakes.

Nice to know – There’s a range of seating for those who wish to ‘dine in’.
