MUNICH BRAUHAUS HAS CLOSED TO BE REPLACED BY EL CAMINO CANTINA IN NOVEMBER 2020.

Munich Brauhaus is bringing Oktoberfest to Brisbane’s South Bank 365 days a year, with their epic traditional bier hall, German steins and pork knuckles.

The ginormous bier hall is splayed across two levels, with long feasting tables, several bars and classic German entertainment in each area. The atmosphere is full of German spirit, with Munich tunes, lederhosen clad diners dancing on tables and steins cheers’ing everywhere you look.

There’s hundreds of bench tables inside, with many different rooms to explore in the bier hall.

There’s also a huge alfresco area out the front for those wanting to enjoy their steins in a beer garden atmosphere.

The menu is laden with astonishing German-inspired dishes such as pork knuckle, schnitzels, sausages and of course, pretzels.

The beer menu is as large as the food menu, with many types of German brews. These can obviously be purchased in many sizes, from boots to steins. You can even buy beer towers, to save you hitting the bar for a refill.

Need to know – nearby public transport hubs, paid parking nearby.

Nice to know – there’s always entertainment. It’s recommended you book for dining in for food.
