Cafe En Route
Gaythorne
CAFE EN ROUTE IN GAYTHORNE HAS CLOSED.
Café en Route is a quirky drive-through coffee kiosk in a red shipping container that has set up in a disused Gaythorne service station and tyre mart.
Commuters in their cars queue up in the mornings for a takeaway cup of Merlo coffee to see them through the journey to work, with the option of a muffin, banana bread or toasted jaffle for breakfast on the run.

Jaffles come with fillings of ham off the bone, Jarlsberg cheese and mustard and, for those looking for something other than coffee, there’s Emma and Tom’s Iced Green Tea, Natural Cola and Lisbon lemonade.

As well as motorists, pedestrians are welcome, with a separate service window to place and collect orders.

Need to know - Queues can be lengthy at peak times so patience is needed.
