Street Kitchen
Paddington
Iconic cafe Sassafras of Paddington turns into a Street Kitchen on Friday and Saturday nights, serving up delicious Mediterranean bites in its fairylit courtyard, where dogs are welcome to join their owners.
*Due to ongoing staff shortages Street Kitchen is temporarily closed.
Customers are also welcome to take a seat in the main cottage dining rooms as well as the enchanting back garden where glitter mason jar candles adorn the tables.
The menu is designed to share, starting with delicious small plates like smoked barbecue pork or cauliflower tacos or Jamon Serrano board.
There's also a choice of sammiches ( house smoked pastrami or blackened chicken) and sassy salads (crispy fried calamari, smoke roasted cauliflower, blackened chicken or slow smoked BBQ pork).
Good to know - There's also a special menu for pooches, including cafe chewie, peanut butter biscuit, puppuccino and Hugo's doggie ice-cream.
For drinks you can enjoy sangria red wine, elderflower mojito punch, caramel espresso martini, Juan Collins or Spanish beer and a selection of wines.
Need to know - For groups of 4 or more bookings are recommended. Phone bookings only.
