Dame Nellie Lane Markets

Dame Nellie Melba Lane, Brisbane's newest hidden laneway, hosts a European-inspired pop-up market each week from Wednesday to Friday.  

Named after Dame Nellie Melba, Australia's first international diva from the Victorian era, this cute little laneway is located near the historic Gresham Hotel (where Dame Nellie would often stay when visiting Brisbane). 

With entrances off Gresham Lane and Creek Street, locals and visitors alike can discover Dame Nellie Lane while enjoying a cup of coffee and flaky croissant for breakfast, bratwurst sausage for lunch, or afternoon treat such as handmade chocolates, gelato, or gluten-free, vegan donuts; with half a dozen vendors peddling delicious eats in the narrow laneway.
