Kaldi Bar & Cafe is a unique, airy and spacious cafe by day and ambient bar by night* nestled in Toowong's High Street.
Windows in this light-filled space open onto the street and the tables on the deck are suitable for large groups.
The breakfast menu at Kaldi Cafe includes eggs benedict, Fairfax burgers (herbed scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and ), fluffy ricotta pancakes bacon & egg croissants, tomato, ham & cheese toasties, smashed avocado (with in-house carrot jam) and banana bread.
Nice to know - Be sure to check the front wall of Kaldi Bar & Cafe for the story behind the name - Kaldi was an Ethiopian goat herder, who experimented with the world's first cup of coffee back in 850AD.
Need to know - Street parking is available along High St. *The bar is due to open sometime in August once license is granted.
