Bill Frisell Trio

Brisbane Powerhouse

Experience the quicksilver sound of guitar genius and Grammy Award winner Bill Frisell, joined by bass player Thomas Morgan (Paul Motian) and drummer Rudy Royston (Branford Marsalis) for an unforgettable night of jazz mastery at Brisbane Powerhouse on Wednesday, June 5.

One of the most innovative and influential musicians of the past 25 years, Frisell has stayed true to jazz, but that hasn’t prevented him from trying his hand at avant-garde, folk, rock, blues, pop, country and even classical music.

Bold and inventive, this multi-award-winning artist has collaborated with some of the greatest pop artists of our time including Elvis Costello, Paul Simon, Sting, Lou Reed and Marianne Faithfull, as well as jazz legends John Scoffield, Chick Corea and Pat Metheny.
