The Brookfield Show is back in 2023 to amaze and delight show-goers of all ages across three-jam packed days from May 19-21.

Known as Brisbane's biggest little country show, this year visitors can expect traditional competitions and new ones such as LEGO by Brick Events.

Children's entertainment includes Mini Moshers, Larrikin Puppets and the wildly popular, Bolster and Lee “Knock 'Em Downs” circus set to debut at this show.

The circus debuted at the Brisbane Festival and is a comically interactive and visually engaging trip back in time to the side shows of old. Step inside the colourful carnival tent and experience a crazy world of fun and games, where nostalgia has taken a curious twist and the carnies have turned into clowns!

Also new will be the Snake Boss show, run by Julia Baker who hosted this award winning program on Animal Planet TV. There will be lots of reptiles to keep the children entertained and on edge.

The fun miniature pigs races are back, and the animal farm too, allowing children to get up and close with chickens, goats and lambs. Working sheep dog displays on the main arena will give families an insight into what it’s like to work the farm with sheep.

Brookfield Show 2023

On the main stage during the day, enjoy the Talent Competition “Brookfield’s Got Talent” where dancers, singers and jugglers vie to win the hottest contest in the West. Local school bands will play either side of the competition over the weekend.

Patrons can peruse the delicious looking goodies in the Cookery competition and be welcomed via Cookery Lane - a whimsical walk through a floral archway and gardens with coffee and locally made sweets to purchase and take home the best.

Homegrown and arranged fruit, flowers and plants will be on display in Horticulture, including fairy gardens and fruit unicorns prepared by school-aged entrants.

Art, children’s art, photography, woodwork, needlecraft are always filled with stunning creative works, whilst the fun guinea pig races run on Saturday afternoon and the impressive wood chop on Saturday. Watching the horse riders showjump and parade is a show-stopper across three days, and the dog competition will be just as entertaining.
