Cactus Espresso Bar

Ipswich

CACTUS ESPRESSO HAS CLOSED IN 2019.

Looking for great coffee and a place to ‘chill’ in Ipswich? Cactus Espresso Bar fits the bill with great coffee and a cool and mellow ambience in an historic building.

This Top of Town precinct cafe features a clean lined interior with wooden floorboards and retro lighting, and along with softly playing lounge music and art chic feel is quite refreshing and perfect for those looking to work somewhere different to the office.

Cactus also made it to number 9 on Australia’s Top 50 Bike Friendly Cafes, as a cafe with excellent coffee, room outside for the bike, large outdoor tables and half price coffees before 9am for cyclists.

For pedestrians and cyclists alike, on the menu are a good variety of breakfast dishes from fruit and muesli to hearty breakfasts with Free Range eggs each and every way and vegetarian options are also available.

Fresh and healthy depicts the lunch menu at Cactus Espresso Bar with a variety of sandwiches and salads on offer as well as the option to add filo pastries or a hearty beef burgundy pie.

And not to be forgotten is the great espresso for which this cafe is best known, perfect alongside a lovely pastry made by Cactus’ own in house pastry chef . Cold drinks are also available as well as freshly squeezed juices using local farmer sourced produce.
