Cake & Bake is an artisan bakery in Newstead and the only place in Brisbane where you'll find food icon Jocelyn Hancock's signature baked cakes, scrumptious slices, savoury treats and more.
One of Brisbane's best bakeries, Cake & Bake boasts an extensive range of decadent treats. Step inside this petite patisserie perched on Commercial Road and you'll find a cake cabinet crammed with delicious baked goods.
Heavenly layered sponge cakes filled with lemon curd, crushed raspberries and cream nestle next to chocolate roulades, red velvet cakes, lemon souffle cheesecakes and Jocelyn's famous wholesome carrot cakes.
The bakery also offers smaller bar cakes, perfect for morning tea or dessert, in yummy flavours like vegan chocolate, sticky date with caramel sauce, and blueberry, coconut and almond.
In addition, there's chocolate and salty caramel slices, Newstead brownies, banoffee tarts, lemon tarts, flaky French pastries, buttery croissants, friands, muffins and more.
If savoury is more your thing, there are curry puffs, pies, sausage rolls, quiches and fresh salads, with plenty of options for vegetarians.
Along with Jocelyn's trademark cakes and treats, you'll find Hancock & Farm's famous slow-cooked tomato relish, as well as compotes and curds, raw honey harvested from her farm in Killarney, and other quality pantry items.
