Carousels Cupcakes & Coffee

Chermside West

CAROUSELS AND CUPCAKES HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED AND IN ITS PLACE IS CAFE BAR CANTINA 817.

This fanciful little cupcake diner is as sweet on the inside as the cupcakes it serves. Candy pink booths, rainbow glass chandeliers, decoupage tables featuring tiny album covers from the ’50’s and ’60’s and a soundtrack from the ’60’s set the scene for some sweet nostalgic indulgence.

The retro theme continues down to the delicious cupcakes themselves – the peppermint Johnny Cash, the chocolate Dr Seuss, the coconut banana and pineapple Gidget and the white chocolate Marilyn. Wash them down with a di Bella coffee or keep the retro theme going with a true 1950’s style milkshake or mix it all up with a cupcake sundae. Either way sweet tooths only need apply.

With its location on busy Gympie Rd it’s advisable to either park in Thomas St behind or combine with a touch of shopping and parking at Westfield across the road.
