Fangirls is a hilarious musical comedy about first love, fan culture and the danger of underestimating teenage girls, playing at Bille Brown Theatre from September 7 to October 5.

Edna is 14, acutely awkward and everyone thinks she’s a serial liar. But none of this will matter when her REAL life starts...with Harry. Harry is the lead singer in True Connection, the world’s biggest boyband.

When True Connection announce a tour date in Edna’s hometown, she realises that this is her one chance to meet Harry, her idol, and convince him of their destiny. But just how far is she prepared to go in the name of love?

This world premiere by talented comedian, singer and playwright, Yve Blake, (who also stars in Fangirls) is filled with catchy tunes that will take you straight back to high school and your first crush.
