Achtung, baby! Brisbane’s iconic Regatta Hotel is celebrating all things German with an epic German Festival from October 12-14.
Kicking off on Friday October 12, this three day festival will see the Regatta’s Laneway transformed into an authentic German beer hall. Guests can sample the best Germany has to offer with bars serving up the best German beers, wines and liqueurs plus a Jägermeister Ice Luge.
A delicious line-up of Bavarian fare will be on offer from salted pretzels and pork knuckles to veal schnitzels and tasting plates piled with bratwurst, cheese kranskies and debriciners (pork sausages) with mustard potatoes and beer gravy.
Sweet tooths will be satiated with sweet pretzels and salted caramel sauce, as well as scrumptious apple and rhubarb strudels served with fresh cream.
With free entry and live music adding to the festive atmosphere, this German Festival is not to be missed! So get the gang together, dust off your dirndl and lederhosen and join in the fun!
