Brisbane Powerhouse

Stage sensation Lady Beatle gets her Lonely Hearts Club Band back together for a much-anticipated return season at Brisbane Powerhouse from November 18-21, 2020.

More than 30 of the Beatles’ iconic songs, including Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds, Eleanor Rigby, Yellow Submarine, Come Together and Penny Lane will be reimagined, reinterpreted and presented live across four performances in the Powerhouse Theatre’s intimate and COVID-safe mode.

Created by The Little Red Company (Rumour Has It, The IsoLate Late Show), the critically-acclaimed musical memorial to the Beatles stars Australian entertainer Naomi Price (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Ladies in Black) and Brisbane’s very own fab four, Little Red favourites Mik Easterman (drums), Scott French (bass), Michael Manikus (piano) and Jason McGregor (guitar).

Brisbane Powerhouse Artistic Director Kris Stewart said he was excited to welcome Price back to the venue following her star turns in Sweet Charity and YANK! in 2019.

“Little Red is one of Australia’s biggest little cabaret powerhouses and Lady Beatle is an undisputed fan-favourite,” Mr Stewart said.

“We can’t wait to have Naomi and her Fab Four back in the Powerhouse Theatre with this truly rocking, roof-raising show. “We know lifetime fans of the Beatles will love it just as much as first-time listeners.”
