Lord Mayor's Photographic Awards are back for 2021, so photographers and would-be photographers of Brisbane - it's time to get out and about in our beautiful city and start snapping!

Simply take a photo of something that shows how your local Brisbane life just keeps getting better and you could be a winner. Looking for inspiration? It could be the friendly faces at your favourite cafe, getting together with family or friends at your neighbourhood park, the cheers of your local sporting team, our bustling city after dark, or new views that brighten our local streets.

There are six categories in this years Lord Mayor’s Photographic Awards, including the popular People’s Choice Award. You can enter one or more of the following five categories: Open, Student, Social Media, Green Heart and LaVonne Bobongie Award.

There are eight fantastic cash prizes to be won: Open category - $5,000; Open category first runner-up - $2,000; Open category second runner-up - $1,000; Green Heart category - $1,500; Student category - $1,500; Social Media category - $1,500; LaVonne Bobongie Award - $1,500; People's Choice Award - $1,500.
