The Queensland Choir will perform Mendelssohn's Elijah, accompanied by the Ensemble Q Orchestra and conducted by Kevin Power, in the magnificent Main Auditorium of Brisbane City Hall on September 18, 2022.

Mendelssohn Elijah

Elijah is one of the greatest of all oratorios, with the dramatic story of the Old Testament prophet narrated through magnificent choruses and solos. First performed by the choir in 1873, it is one of the major works from their choral repertory.

Special guest soloists for this very special 150th year Concert are Jose Carbo as Elijah (Baritone), Elizabeth Lewis (Soprano), Shikara Ringdahl (Mezzo-Soprano) and Paul Mc Mahon (Tenor).
