Moreton Kids Festival 2020 is Good to Go and set to transform Pine Rivers Park into the ultimate (COVID Safe) kids’ world on October 18.

Returning for it’s fourth year, Moreton Kids Festival is dedicated to safely providing fun for kids of all ages, with five worlds of fun plus a visit from a very special British guest.

The day will be filled with exciting activities, fun, workshops and entertainment for kids of all ages and interests, (that are all COVID Safe) within five interactive zones.

The Strathpine Centre Main Stage has a packed program filled with live entertainment throughout the day. Kids will be treated to a special visitor and her brother all the way from the UK, while Peppa and George Pig will have two live shows that are sure to get the little kids excited.

One of the most popular zones, Brisbane Kids Fun Kids is a whole world dedicated to providing kids with FREE rides all day long. Rides include the horse carousel, pirate ship, cannibal pots, mechanical surfboard, giant slide, the cha cha and the wild hog.

In the Creative Kids zone, the whole family can get inspired with plenty of arts and crafts activities as well as art installations. Kids can make their own badges or flower crowns, join an origami workshop, create their own scratch art or learn how to be a mime with ROAR academy.

Meanwhile Sesame Lane Active Kids is the place to jump around and get moving with a series of fun outdoor activities. Kids can have fun with games, obstacle courses, challenges and more with Juice up Groms, play Mini Foot Golf or Bend it Like Beckham with the Brisbane Roar. Shoot some hoops with the Brisbane Bullets, hit some balls at the Brisbane Heat inflatable batting and bowling activity or be inspired to play AFL with a visit to the Pine Rivers Swans.

Green Kids is a world for growing your little one’s green thumbs and learning about the environment. Kids can see underwater animals up close and personal with Ocean Life Education's Touch Tanks, see real life shark jaws, beautiful shells and learn all about ocean life with the experienced Marine Educators. They can also learn how to grow their own veggies with the Veggie Patch Program as well as fossick for dinosaur bones, meet a T-Rex, and watch a volcano erupt with Dino Encounters.

The Innovative Kids zone is brought together by Innovate Moreton Bay, and in this world, kids will learn to think outside of the box with augmented reality, robotics, puzzles and drones.

Good to know - There will be plenty of hand sanitiser stations and adequate space for social distancing throughout the event.

Need to know - Get your tickets before to skip the queue! In the light of COVID restrictions, event goers are being encouraged to pre-purchase their tickets online, where they can pre-fill their details for contact tracing. To comply with Local, State, and Federal requirements, as a condition of entry to this event, everyone is required to provide contact details for each attendee in the event contact tracing is required.
