Peaks To Points Festival 2024
Discover the beauty in greater Brisbane’s backyard at the Peaks to Points Festival from July 20 to August 4, 2024.
The 2-week celebration returns this year with the biggest line-up yet, including 50+ family-friendly events across Brisbane, Ipswich, Redlands and Logan regions.
The Festival brings together community and groups, businesses and government, to celebrate greater Brisbane’s ‘wild side’, and to showcase their work in improving our natural environment for the wider community.
Experience amazing natural areas on Brisbane's doorstep through fantastic, free events and hands-on activities, ranging from birdwatching, talks, tree plantings, guided walks and other great eco-activities, so you can learn more about our wonderful natural environment, and how we can protect and enhance it.
Family Day kick starts the 2-week long festival on Sunday, July 21 from 10am-3pm. Presented by Brisbane MarketPlace, this fun day out for the whole family, including four-legged members, will take place at Oxley Creek Common in Rocklea.
The Family Day is free to attend with something for everyone, from kids' activities and interactive workshops, to live entertainment, with more than 40 sustainability information displays, plus a range of food trucks.
The day will feature live local entertainment including the QLD Urban Utilities Water Warriors Show, a magic show, and FREE kids’ arts and crafts, as well as face painting, a jumping castle and rock-climbing wall.
Good to know - Most of the events are completely free and provide parents an excellent opportunity to get the kids out into nature and get their hands dirty.
