Seafood Freshtival

The Star Gold Coast celebrates the best the ocean has to offer with Freshtival, a festival of fresh sumptuous seafood, happening across The Star's award-winning dining destinations.

From now until the end of May, guests can go cray-cray for lobster, discover spectacular specialties and experience exclusive ticketed events and pop-up kitchens.  

Diners can dive in at Harvest Buffet with an endless seafood buffet available every Thursday night during Freshtival. This fabulous buffet includes oysters, prawns, crabs, mussels and more. 

Family-friendly Cucina Vivo is dishing up Italian-inspired crustacean dishes like Queensland garlic prawn pizza and Moreton Bay bug tail with herb maltagliati and bisque sauce. 

Meanwhile, members of The Star Club can enjoy luxury for less with Lobster Mornay - American Maine lobster served with thick-cut chips and fresh, green salad - available for the incredible price of $29.99 from the Food Quarter. Join the Star Club for free here.

Otherwise, guests can enjoy delicious seafood at one the pop-ups, such as beer-battered fish and chips or freshly-shucked $2 oysters at the Garden Kitchen & Bar, or a scrumptious prawn roll at the Sports Bar.  

For an exceptional dining experience, visit one of The Star's signature restaurants. These stunning dining destinations have sourced the highest quality seafood available to create some truly spectacular bespoke dishes; from rock lobster bolognese at Nineteen at The Star, to Moreton Bay bug at Kiyomi, and soft shell crab Singapore-style at Imperial at The Star.  

The ultimate seafood experience though, would have to be Nineteen at The Star's Sustainable Seafood Dinner on Thursday, May 16.  Showcasing the very best in Australian seafood, this mystery 8-course tasting menu, paired with premium wines, will take diners on a descent through the ocean with each dish representing a deeper layer.
