Yuzu & Co

New Farm

YUZU & CO NEW FARM HAS CLOSED IN 2020 BUT YOU CAN STILL ENJOY THEIR DELICIOUS FARE AT MILTON.

Yuzu & Co, located down Brunswick Street, is operated by ex-Sake sous Chef, Kuldeep who creates astounding contemporary Japanese dishes for New Farm locals.

The restaurant is located on Brunswick Street, across the road from the New Farm Cinemas making it the perfect location for a pre-movie feed or even just for an evening out on the town. There are alfresco dining options out the front and plenty of tables inside for group and intimate dining. A large print of a picturesque Japanese scenery adorns one of the walls for a touch of cultural ambience.

The menu serves lunch and dinner, with plenty of options to suit any kind of taste buds. Diners can choose from a range of starters, gyoza, sashimi, nigari, sushi rolls, burgers, main meals, tempura, soup, salads, rice and finally, Yuzu’s signature dishes.

It’s a great idea to share dishes at Yuzu & Co as a lot of the menu is suitable for grazing, meaning you’ll get to try more than just one dish! Ensure to start with Yuzu’s Popcorn Shrimp, which is bite size tempura prawns tossed in a creamy spicy mayo – it’s quite the dish.

The Chef’s Signature dishes are certainly worth a try and are a huge hit with local diners. Using Japanese ingredients and flavours with a bit of an Australian twist, Yuzu & Co created Sashimi Tacos. These crispy nori tacos are filled with salmon, tuna and tomato salsa.

The Salmon Ikura is another dish to remember; featuring thinly sliced New Zealand salmon, salmon roe, sesame, chives and a unique yuzu ponzu.

Let’s not forget about the Ikura Scallop either, topped with salmon roe, coriander, chilli oroshi and ponzu sauce – these scallops melt in your mouth.

If you’re more of a meat person definitely don’t go past Yuzu’s Wagyu Truffle. The thinly sliced MS7 wagyu is served with truffle salsa, sesame, chives and yuzu soy.

Yuzu & Co has tap beers, wine and plenty of traditional Japanese beverages. Sake being the obvious favourite and most popular order.

Need to know – Nearby street parking is available.
