Bar Gusto brings a traditional taste of the Italian Riviera to the base of the Rydges Hotel in Bowen Hills, overlooking the Brisbane Showgrounds.

The casual open plan restaurant and bar features an al fresco terrace with bright orange umbrellas and a giant fairy-lit fig tree, whilst inside a giant Italian pizza oven and display of Italian herbs, sauces and condiments takes pride of place near the bar.

On the food menu is a selection of antipasti, including bruschetta, gamberoni, potato crochette and crab; and arancini pesto; as well as the signature Gusto grazing board for 2-3 people.

Delicious pizzas include classic margherita, carbonara pecorina, diavola and crab meat gamberoni, while pastas include signature black squid linguine, ravioli alla carbonara and fettuccine al ragu. There's also a coupld of kids meals (mini margherita pizza or spaghetti bolognese) including soft drink and ice-cream.

On the cocktail list are the likes of wild rose spritz, dolce colada and watermelon punch while the wine list features a mix of Italian,  Australian and NZ wines, prosecco and champagne.
