To Be Or Not To Be Cafe

Westlake

To Be Or Not To Be brings a touch of Shakespeare to the suburbs with fantastic foodie fare and specialty coffee.

Found in the heart of suburbia on Brisbane's westside in Westlake, To Be Or Not To Be is a sibling for Kenmore's favourite cafe Method To The Madness.

To Be Or Not To Be Cafe, Westlake

Perched on the end of a local shopping strip, the cafe offers plenty of seating inside the modern space fit out with terrazzo tiles, timber features and archways, as well as undercover in a side dining room and in a laneway

The all day menu ranges from Two Eggs Thy Way and Untam'd Mushrooms (wild mushrooms with green garlic, pumpkin hummus, mascarpone and poached eggs) to Chinese Pork Benny with lemon potato écrasé, poached eggs and hollandaise.

Sweet tooths will salivate over Almond Bostock soaked in citrus syrup, served with vanilla mascarpone, seasonal fruit and lemon curd, and the ultimate indulgence - Hong Kong Peanut Butter Waffle with chocolate crémeux, citrus soil, orange caramel and Tim Tam peanut butter ice-cream.

Meanwhile, lunch-type options include a cheese burger, chilli and blue swimmer crab laksa, and lamb shank massaman curry.

A kids' menu includes egg on toast, waffles with vanilla ice-cream and fresh fruit, and chicken nuggets and chips.

Coffee on offer includes a house blend, single origin on rotation, cold brew, coffee spritz, and a caffeine board with in-house espresso, house milk based and cold brew.

Otherwise, there are pots of tea, specially lattes, house-made iced teas, cold pressed juices, mango lassi, milkshakes and smoothies such as Othello's Berries (blueberries, raspberries, apples, sorbet, cold pressed pineapple lime juice and honey) or Romeo & Juliet - tropical juice, mango, banana, strawberries and strawberry sorbet.
