Ferny’s Cafe & Espresso Bar is a child- and dog-friendly local hotspot, serving up top-notch food and perfectly brewed coffee in the heart of Ferny Grove.

The light-filled cafe boasts a creative all-day brekkie and lunch menu with a focus on fresh produce. Their house-made panko crumbed Ferny Fritters are a crowd favourite, along with their Ferny Frenchy's (brioche french toast) and eggs benny options. The menu is full of other dishes that are sure to please, such as waffles, açai bowls, smashed avo on ciabatta and a keto brekkie. The dishes are beautifully plated and taste as good as they look.

If you’re after something more lunch-style, there are gourmet burgers, toasties, fresh salads and a selection of house specials. There are plenty of vegan dishes and gluten-free options, too, and a great kids' menu.

The cafe takes coffee seriously. They use award-winning and locally roasted Elixir Coffee and have an extensive espresso and iced coffee menu, with a wide range of alternative milks on offer. Ferny's Cafe & Espresso Bar is also licensed - Espresso Martini or a glass of vino, anyone?

There is a fabulous kids' corner with a play kitchen, mini table and chairs, toys and colouring in kits. It’s inside, so great on rainy (or hot) days. There are comfy tables next to the play area so you can enjoy a coffee whilst your little one whips up their own imaginary feast.

Your furry friends are catered for too with Puppa-cinos on the menu and an outdoor pooch-friendly table area complete with water bowls. You can also purchase dog treats, with all proceeds going to animal charities.

Nice to know - The owners of Ferny's Cafe are Hayley and Jaimi, the duo behind Blackwood Cafe & Espresso Bar in Mitchelton.

Need to know - There's plenty of parking available.

In a nutshell - a real community hub for the whole family, dishing up exceptional food and coffee in a light and airy space with friendly service.
