Housed in a weatherboard-clad cottage in the heart of Hendra, The Brass dishes up delicious breakfast and brunch fare along with specialty coffee.

Formerly known as Saabi on Manson, the corner cafe has been a community hub for over a decade. Child and dog-friendly, patrons can dine inside the charming space or outside on the footpath with their four-legged friends.

The concise menu features a range of breakfast and brunch faves, from Smashed Avo on Sourdough and Eggs Benedict to the cafe's Corn Fritter Stack topped with avocado, bacon, fried eggs, rocket and drizzled with balsamic glaze.

In addition, there's light eats like toasted Turkish bread and croissants stuffed with ham and cheese, chicken, avo and pesto, or herbed tuna, rocket and tomato.

The Brass is child-friendly with a dedicated menu for kids including bacon and eggs, vegemite and cheese or ham and cheese toasties.
