New Farm

Updated: Sep 13, 2022

Franc. is a French-inspired patisserie cafe in New Farm's Merthyr Village serving excellent espresso along with a delectable range of sweet treats and more.

Located in the popular, inner-city shopping centre where Dello Mano used to reside, Franc. features a chic and modern aesthetic with a cream colour scheme and brass light fittings.

Coffee on pour is a signature blend, crafted in collaboration with Providore & Co in Bowen Hills, and pairs perfectly with the delicious treats on offer including almond croissants, fruit danishes, petite cakes, large macarons, lemon meringue tarts, and Butterbing cookies.

Franc. also offers a range of savoury bites such as Angus beef and osso bucco pies, Tasmanian lamb pasties, and chorizo quiche.

For something more substantial, there are fresh baguettes, sandwiches and wholesome salads.

Meanwhile, fans of gelato will be happy to know the cafe features a small gelato cabinet filled with authentic, creamy gelati by Brisbane's La Macelleria, in delicious flavours like chocolate, vanilla, salted caramel and raspberry cheesecake.

Customers can grab and go, or enjoy on-site with seating provided in front of the cafe.
