Fonzie Abbott
Newstead
Brisbane-based, specialty coffee roaster, Fonzie Abbott has opened a roastery cafe, nestled in the back streets of Newstead.
Tucked away on Ross Street, behind Bunnings, the warehouse space features a roastery in the rear, and a bright and airy cafe out front.

The concise menu includes gourmet sandwiches such as a Bangin' Breaky Wrap, Hightop Toastie (shaved leg ham, vintage cheddar and tomato on sourdough) and Smoked Salmon bagel with spinach, baby capers, and lemon and dill cream cheese.

For something sweet, there's a range of baked good, from cinnamon scrolls and Portuguese tarts to almond croissants, chocolate brownies, and more.

The coffee doesn't disappoint with two blends on offer, plus a single origin and batch brew. In addition, there's an array of teas, sticky chai, Hrvst St juices, and soft drinks.
The Newstead cafe also boasts a retail space where you pick up freshly roasted Fonzie Abbott beans, at-home brewing apparatus, and branded merch like hoodies and caps.
