MORNING NEWS CAFE HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

Morning News is a sleek and modern cafe in Brisbane's CBD dishing up fresh, wholesome fare for breakfast and lunch along with delicious treats and well-brewed coffee.

Located on Adelaide Street, the cafe provides indoor and outdoor dining with an undercover area filled with leafy, green plants and blonde timber furniture.

Breakfast fare includes classics like sliced avocado on artisanal sourdough, streaky bacon and egg rolls, brekky bruschetta (Tuscan seasoned tomatoes on artisan bread with poached egg) and oregano roasted field mushrooms on toast with labneh, pickled red onion and poached egg.

Lunch options consist of gourmet sandwiches made to order on your choice of fresh bread baked by King Street Bakery, as well as pre-made sandwiches ready to grab and go.  There’s also an array of salads - all gluten-free and vegetarian - like roast cauliflower and eggplant, rocket, pear and fennel, and Morning New's nourishing grain salad – quinoa, crushed almonds, cauliflower couscous, raisins and mint.

Fresh baked goods on offer include King Street Bakery croissants, danishes, brownies and muffins.

Coffee on pour is by Melbourne-based Niccolo Coffee. Otherwise, there are organic teas by Mayde Tea, cold-pressed juices, kombucha and smoothies.
