Giardinetto Restaurant

Fortitude Valley

Updated: Oct 16, 2025

Long before most Valley patrons were born and back when Dean Martin topped the charts, Giardinetto started doing exactly what it does today – serving up hearty Italian meals within its fairy-lit vine-covered courtyard and tiled 1960s shop front.

Now as a Valley dining institution, it continues to attract a crowd in search of home-cooked style spaghetti marinara, scalloppine al funghi, fettuccine carbonara, pizza and calzone just the way it’s always been.

Diners not looking for a full dinner can share Piccoli Sapori – small plates laden with the likes of octopus, meatballs, olives and arancini.

The menu may have changed since our visit.
