Told You So

North Lakes

Updated: Nov 18, 2018

Told You So is the place to visit for anyone searching for coffee with a twist of the unusual, at North Lakes on Brisbane's northside.

Coffee comes as "black, white or filtered" (using Single Origin Roasters). For those on the lookout for something a little different, they also serve iced coffee sodas (pictured).

Told You So's non-caffeinated beverages include a house made soda of the week (rosella, passionfruit and green tea this week), a selection of cold pressed juices by HRVST, hot chocolate by Mork and a popular Prana chai tea blend.

Told You So also sell delicious slices of pie made by Firefly Pie Co. - coconut key lime pie, lemon meringue pie, or chocolate marshmallow pie, to name a few tempting flavors which change from day to day.

The cafe itself is located within the North Lakes Evergreen Centre, and has an open, modern ambiance. In one corner, they have an inviting vintage chess set, as well as welcoming outdoor seating to accommodate any canine companions.

In A Nutshell: Told You So is an unusual destination-cafe of particular interest for coffee, chai, and pie aficionados.
