Red Beach

Bribie Island

Updated: Sep 15, 2024

Red Beach is a somewhat wild and woolly stretch of Bribie Island beach accessed via a vegetation-shrouded path leading from the car park.

There’s absolutely no amenity here, just sand, water and vine-covered dunes but it’s doggie heaven for pooches who literally have 8 kilometres of beach to walk or swim, albeit most of it on-leash.

After a couple of kilometres the beach meets up with Woody Bay, around the corner from which is the Woorim Beach dog off-leash section so it’s also great for long dog-owner walks although at high tide this can be a challenge.

Getting there - Follow the Boulevard into Tully St and turn right onto a dirt road that meanders through the forest to the carpark. The short road is corrugated though suitable for 2 wheel drives.
