Helios Brewing Company

Yeerongpilly

Updated: Jul 12, 2024

Helios Brewing Company is brewing local beer in a solar powered brewery, located in the quiet suburb of Yeerongpilly.

The expansive brewery is set across two levels, with the 15 bbl brewery system located downstairs for onlookers to see. The brewery has seating upstairs and downstairs, with plenty of room for the kids and any visiting dogs.

Helios brews a range of beers inspired by Gods and monsters from Greek mythology, such as the Ravishing Red Rye – laden with hints of spice and Australian hops.

The brewery itself is named after the Greek sun God, playing patriarch to its sustainable solar powered system.

Whilst the brewery doesn’t sell food, Helios houses a rotating roster of food trucks each night that they are open.

Need to know – There is parking onsite, as well as nearby street parking.

Nice to know – Bottles of beer can be taken away from the brewery, with operating hours for Growler refills Mon – Sat, 1pm – 9pm. Helios is dog-friendly.

*Opening hours correct at time of visiting in Jan 2018.
