Drowned Rat Espresso/kee Bar

Clontarf

"Coffee up, wine down" is the motto at Drowned Rat Espresso / Kee Bar - a dual-run establishment which lies opposite Clontarf Beach on the Redcliffe Peninsula.

Every morning, Drowned Rat Espresso Bar welcomes the breakfast crowd (including water-logged dogs) with Drowned Rat coffee, Origin teas, juices and classic brunch cuisine.

Four afternoons each week, the beachside venue transforms into Kee Bar where the outdoor verandah provides a relaxing spot to watch the passing boats while sipping on a refreshing alcoholic beverage.

Indoors at Kee Bar there are comfy lounges, a golden piano and a range of beers on tap (Fortitude, Stone & Wood and 4 Pines) as well as a fine selection of wines and spirits. There are also some must-try cheese boards, pizzas and tapas-style share plates including spiced meatballs, felafel bites, jalapeno poppers, and baked brie.
