The Bloom Room

Birkdale

Updated: Jul 02, 2022

The Bloom Room Cafe in Birkdale would have to be Brisbane’s prettiest café, festooned with flowers, draped across walls and suspended from the ceiling.

The charming cafe features a European-inspired look with small marble tables, bistro chairs and luxe banquette seating.

All day breakfast fare ranges from wholesome acai bowls topped with seasonal fruit and house made granola, and avocado on sourdough with prosciutto and pistachio dukkah, to wickedly delicious sticky date waffles with white chocolate cream cheese, vanilla ice-cream, toffee sauce, brandy snaps and almond crumb.

The concise lunch menu includes sesame-crusted Ahi tuna salad, beef brisket tacos and chicken schnitzel Caesar sandwiches served with chips.

Kids can choose between bangers and mash, fried egg, ham and cheese toasted sandwiches, and vanilla pancakes with fresh strawberries, ice cream and maple syrup.

Drink wise, there’s Veneziano coffee, speciality lattes and hot chocolates, tea, cold pressed juice, smoothies, milkshakes and coconut frappes.

Some menu items may have changed since our visit.
