UNICO ESPRESSO HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
Unico Espresso is a popular bayside breakfast/coffee haunt in Thorneside overlooking Beth Boyd Park and Waterloo Bay.
Open daily, customers can sit inside at little tables with bench seating lining one wall, at communal tables on the other, or al fresco with water views.
The top-notch all day menu includes breakfast faves such as coconut porridge with lemon balm, seasonal fruit and local honey, and smashed avocado with Danish feta, fresh mint and lemon; while sweet tooths will be satiated with maple French toast with lemon curd, mascarpone and soft fruits.
Heartier breakfast dishes include eggs benedict with poached eggs on sourdough with hollandaise and smoked paprika and Unico’s wholesome buddha bowl of spinach, avocado, marinated pumpkin and roasted chickpeas.
Coffee on pour is by Toby’s Estate as well as single origin coffee. Otherwise, there are specialty teas, such as authentic chai leaf tea infused with milk, honey and cinnamon, milkshakes, smoothies, and sparkling sodas.
