In A Pickle

Camp Hill

Updated: Apr 16, 2024

On the site of an old butcher shop in the picturesque Martha St shopping strip is the natty little cafe/catering nook, In A Pickle.

Serving home-baked goodies and divine milkshakes in old-fashioned metal cups, with jars of lollipops and an antique weighing machine on the counter, a box of intact toys to play with and quiet leafy playground nearby it has the children covered whilst for mothers the IAP team prepare fabulous take-home meals which means more time pushing offspring on the swings.

Adults are well catered for on site too with an ever changing scrummy menu of homemade gourmet pies, frittatas, salads, cakes and sweets along with good coffee.

Whilst the inside venue is small (most seating is outside), it’s big on services to mother-and-child. In a Pickle can cater your children’s party with yummy home made cakes etc as well as teaching your child to cook after school or school holidays and has recently started classes for adults too.

And dogs aren’t forgotten – they’re welcomed on leashes at the outdoor eating area.
