Indigiscapes Tea Garden Cafe
Capalaba
Within the grounds of the Indigiscapes Centre - a charming native botanical garden - this little bush cafe serves up casual meals, morning and afternoon teas but with a bush flavour thanks to the use of native herbs and wild fruits and berries in many of the menu items.
Sandwiches with a bush mustard spread, chicken wraps with bush tomatoes, kurrajong seeds and pepper leaf, the sensational Indigicake (apple, coconut and dates) or home made banana nut bread are some of the delicious premise made offerings.
If just there for morning tea the native Devonshire is highly recommended, incorporating bush leaf teas and scones with myrtle lemon butter and Davidson plum jam or wild lime marmalade.
Take home jars of mustards, sauces and jams are also available to purchase.
By the gardens entrance adjacent to the café is a hitching gate for dogs with water bowls.
