New Farm

Updated: Oct 24, 2025

The best things are almost always found in out of the way places and no more so than Double Shot Panini Cafe, a pocket-sized New Farm cafe sequestered amongst the apartment blocks of Oxlade Drive.

Scrambled eggs at Double Shot Panini

On the breakfast menu at Double Shot Panini are delicious choices like chilli scrambled eggs served on sour dough with a slice of haloumi; breakfast panini (2 sunny side up eggs, premium smoked bacon, cheese & chutney); Double Shot omelette (with spinach & provolone cheese, served with sour dough); and 'shroom toast (sauteed mushrooms with herbed butter on sour dough with a side of haloumi).

There's also a small selection of breakfast bowls (granola or acai) and lunch bowls (cotoletta or Mediterranean).
