Steel & Grind

Mt Gravatt

Updated: Apr 19, 2024

Steel & Grind is a cool, construction themed café serving coffee and crepes from a hidden location on Logan Road in Mt Gravatt.

Found behind F45 Fitness, at the end of the laneway, this bunker-style cafe features concrete flooring, steel grey walls and custom made industrial furniture. The coffee on offer is a signature blend crafted by Merlo

The all-day menu includes sweet and savoury crepes, toasties and acai bowls. Sweet crepes include lemon and sugar, banana and nutella, and strawberries and salted caramel (available with cream and/or ice-cream), while savoury ones range from ham and cheese to the Full Load with triple smoked ham, vine-ripened tomato, free range egg and cheese. Acai bowls – made with almond milk or coconut water – include Purple (acai, mixed berries, banana, mango and brazil nuts), Yellow (acai, pineapple, mango, banana and medjool dates) and Black (acai, banana, cacao powder and peanut butter).

Besides coffee, Steel & Grind makes scrumptious smoothies like the healthy, highly recommended Green smoothie with kale, spinach, banana, mango and chia seeds.
