The Place 2 Be

Delaneys Creek

Updated: Mar 04, 2019

The Place 2 B Cafe is a quiet country cafe overlooking the water at Delaneys Creek, just north of Mt Mee.

It is easy to spend an afternoon here watching the ducks forage for scraps, while sipping a pleasant cup of tea or coffee on the verandah.

There are also several tables closer to the water's edge for visitors who prefer to enjoy their meal in the great outdoors. Families and pets are warmly welcomed at The Place 2 B Cafe, while younger children will especially enjoy feeding the ducks and having a chance to run around outside.

The cafe also serves creamy Maleny milkshakes, prime Nolans rib fillet steaks, delicious home baked cakes, and salads sourced from local growers. Hot rock meals are available every Friday and Saturday night (BYO), however, bookings are essential.

Nice to know: The Place 2 Be Cafe is located half way between Samford and Woodford, making it a great spot to stop for lunch en route.
