The Long Yard Larder

Samford

Updated: Dec 31, 2020

The Long Yard Larder in Samford Village is an ambient parkside cafe with a wood-lined interior and a warm, minimalist vibe.

Window seats provide an ideal vantage point to watch the daily comings and goings while sipping a cup of coffee, organic Chamellia tea, Emma & Tom's juice or a frappe, smoothie or milkshake (proudly made using Maleny Dairies milk).

Be tempted by some great breakfasts such as The Long Yard Breakfast (house cooked baked beans, roasted mushrooms, fried eggs, Heidi Farm Tilsit and toast), porridge with quinoa, pepitas, grilled pears and poached rhubarb, or blueberry waffles (choose your own ice cream).

Cheese lovers must try the assorted platter or cheese platter, while the range of Wensley's Traditional English pastries (Guinness Pie, Cornish pasty, chicken and mushroom pie, sausage roll) make for a good hearty lunch.

Located just across from John Scott Park, The Long Yard Larder wisely serves family-friendly Maleny Food Co Gelato (cherry ripe, hazelnut roche, banoffee or honeycomb to name a few flavors).

Nice to know - Street parking available in Station St directly in front of The Long Yard Larder.

In a nutshell - Gelato, gourmet cheeses and hearty pastries served opposite Samford's most popular playground.
