727 Coffee & Food is a bright and cheerful café tucked away in a little shopping strip off Deception Bay Road in the pocket-sized suburb of Rothwell.
Open weekdays only, this northside coffee nook is child-friendly with a corner of the café set up with toys, tiny table and chairs. Excellent espresso, roasted locally by Wolff Coffee Roasters, is served alongside light eats and sweet treats, like moreish homemade fudge.
Breakfast offerings include smashed avocado with feta and cherry tomatoes on toasted sourdough and breaky wraps with scrambled eggs, bacon, hash brown and barbecue sauce; while lunch options range from fresh sandwiches and toasties to house made quiche with salad or chicken burgers – grilled chicken breast on brioche bun with avocado, lettuce and tomato.
Besides coffee, there’s tea, chai lattes, milkshakes, smoothies, kombucha and handcrafted cold brew bottled by Brisbane’s Crafted.
