Aloria
The Star Brisbane
Updated: May 17, 2025
Aloria is a stunning rooftop dining destination and jewel in the crown of The Star Brisbane’s Sky Deck perched 100m above the ground in the Queens Wharf Precinct, with an exquisite seasonal menu that is a perfect match for the setting.

Boasting a quintessential subtropical Queensland vibe with jaw-dropping views across the entire city, Aloria is the pinnacle of Brisbane City dining.

Book early to nab a table with a front row seat of the sweeping vistas, but regardless, the restaurant is designed so whether you are seated on the terrace or inside the open-sided dining room you can still enjoy the view.

With Michelin-trained Chef Shayne Mansfield at the helm, Aloria’s menu tells a story of sustainability and uncompromised quality where Queensland’s dry-aged beef and succulent seafood are the stars of the show.

Start with one or more of the delicious morsels from the snack menu (which is also available from 3-5pm as a stand-alone menu to enjoy with an afternoon or pre-dinner tipple). Highlights include Appelation Signature Oysters with Mignonette; Half shell scallops with nduja and spiced honey; or Heritage pork rillette, green tomato ketchup and tarragon.

Equally tempting entrees include Kingfish Ceviche, Yuzu Kosho, Pickled Persimmon & Smoked Bonito Consommé; Miso Buttered Spanner Crab, Roasted Corn & Chicken Skin Cream; and Jurassic Quail, Stone Fruit Sambal, Wood Fired Celeriac & XO Sauce.

Seasonality and fermentation continue to shine throughout the main choices, including Margra Lamb Saddle, Jerusalem Artichoke, Sprouting Brassica & Black Garlic Lamb Sauce; and Roast Coral Trout, Pink Fir Potato, Lemon Aspen & Oyster Velouté.

Guests looking to celebrate a milestone can consider Aloria’s shared banquet menu, which features leading dishes from the a-la-carte offering, including Kingfish Ceviche with Yuzu Kosho, Pickled Persimmon, and Smoked Bonito Consommé, and a Whole Baked Fish with Fried Curry Leaves, Pickled Green Tomatoes, finished with a Caper Butter.

Regardless of whether you're a sweet tooth, this is one restaurant where you need to order dessert, with heavenly options like Urban Honey Cake, Caramelised Cream, Croissant Ice Cream; Streusel & White Balsamic Ice Cream; Dark Chocolate Parfait, Burnt Botrytis Cream, Smoked Peanut Brittle & Cherry Sorbet; or Brioche Donuts, Blue Cheese & Pickled Pepino Melon.

A 30-page wine list curated by Aloria Head Sommelier Kiki Day is the official ‘cellar in the sky’, featuring hand-picked vintages from world-renowned wine producer, Château Lafite Rothschild alongside award-winning varietals and more fun, flirty and fascinating blends.
