Bistro Korea
Coorparoo
Bistro Korea is a cute contemporary eatery in Coorparoo, offering a range of Korea’s best traditional dishes, from bibimbab to deep fried chicken.
Located in Coorparoo Square, Bistro Korea’s décor is mostly minimalist, with the exception of a vibrant Korean streetscape mural, with lots of light timber.

Authentic Korean fare featured on the menu includes bibimbab - a hot stone bowl filled with rice, carrot, zucchini, bean sprout, seaweed and fried egg with your choice of bulgogi beef or chicken - and sizzling plates of marinated beef rib, spicy pork or soy chicken.

Otherwise, there are Korean pancakes with shallot, kimchi or seafood (mussel, squid and prawn), plus bulgogi japchae (clear sweet potato noodles with beef and vegetables).

Without a doubt though, the most popular dish at Bistro Korea is the finger-lickin’ deep fried chicken with half a dozen flavours ranging from hot and spicy to sweet and sticky, served with crinkle cut fries and salad.

Drinks wise there are soft drinks, Korean bottled beer, beer on tap, and Korean vodka (soju).
