Chili Coco Thai Kitchen
Stones Corner
Chili Coco Thai Kitchen and Café is a charming timber cabin-style eatery that is Stones Corner’s go-to for authentic and delicious Thai food that is also great value.
Despite the familiarity of most dishes what sets Chili Coco apart is that it hasn’t been too modified for Western palates and those who like a bit of spice won’t be disappointed.
The extensive Thai menu comprises entrée faves like Spring Rolls, Fish Cakes, Chicken Satay and Curry puffs with the rest of the menu divided into Soup (Tom Yum, Tom Kha and Clear) Stir Fries (think Chilli and Basil, Cashew Nut, Sweet’n’Sour and Pad Prik Khing, Curries (Panang, Green, Red and Jungle).
Rice and Noodles include Fried Rice, Drunken Noodle, Pad Thai, NaNa Pad and Pad Woonsen (silver noodles with egg, tomatoes and fresh veges in special chef’s brown sauce) and Salads (Grass Noodle, Seafood Lemongrass, Larb and the recommended spicy Beef Salad).
There’s also a decent choice of Chef’s Specials like Tamarind Duck, Chili Coco Spicy Seafood, Praram Chicken (seasonal veges with homemade peanut sauce), Pad Ped Crispy Pork and Lard Nar (meat with flat rice noodle and fresh veges in yellow bean gravy sauce).
