Updated: Jun 26, 2025

Queen Amann Bakery is a beautiful artisan bakery on King Street in Bowen Hills, specialising in Kouign Amann –  a heavenly flaky, buttery pastry from Brittany in France.

With fresh pastries baked daily with their expert team, leave with a sweet treat in one hand and a perfectly crafted coffee in the other.

As well as an authentic taste of the Breton Kouign Amann, the bakery offers an array of daily fresh pastries, baked goods, and sourdough breads. Beyond these, guests can enjoy handcrafted fresh focaccia and rustic sourdough sandwiches, bursting with flavour.

To complement the bakery's offerings, vibrant freshly squeezed juices and expertly brewed specialty coffee are also available. Be sure to taste their speciality strawberry matcha - it's as tasty as it is pretty!
