Pasteio

Rosalie

Pasteio is a tiny artisan pasta shop in Rosalie, providing authentic homemade pasta dishes and delicious dolcetti (Italian sweets).

Ideal for busy families, fresh pasta is handcrafted daily and is sold with complementing house made sauces and garnishes such as olives or parmigiana.

Dishes vary depending on the day but might include beef ragu pappardelle with tender Angus beef, ricotta gnocchi with mushrooms, lemon and rocket, or pasta e peperoni alla calabrese (peperonata sauce with sweet bell peppers). All you have to do is boil the water and presto, pasta! You’ll have a top-notch, gourmet meal in minutes.

Do try the Italian pastries and desserts on offer. There’s scrumptious biscotti di mandorla (almond biscuits), lemon cream tarts with zesty lemon curd and fresh cream, and montagna di meringa (meringue mountains) topped with fresh fruit.

Need to know - You'll find Pasteio just outside of the Rosalie Village precinct, located underneath a 1960's block of brick flats on the corner of Nash St and Fernberg Rd.
