Eclectea
Brighton
Eclectea Wine Bar in Brighton is worth a detour if anywhere in the Sandgate region or as a whistle stop on the tourist route to Redcliffe.
Nestled in a tiny pocket of 1960s shops, Eclectea occupies the old post office general store on the corner, with cosy dining room and outdoor terrace seating.
The charming tapas bar is a top communal place for a delicious bite to eat and some interesting drinks, accompanied by live music on weekends.
It's also a great place for dog owners to bring their pooches, with a dedicated water bowl and tie-up spot outside.
The decor/menu may have changed since our visit.
