From delicious food and Santa visits to unique gifts and cultural performances, these markets will not only put you in a festive frame of mind (and humming the odd Christmas carol), but also satisfy all your Christmas shopping needs.
Kuraby Christmas Twilight Market
The popular Kuraby Markets are getting in the festive spirit by hosting a Christmas twilight market on Friday Nov 22 from 4pm-9pm. Visitors can browse over 135 stalls and enjoy live entertainment, festive foods and kids’ activities, all in a wonderfully wintry setting behind Kuraby Train Station.
Christmas comes early when UP Markets presents ‘It’s a Very UP Christmas’ at Underwood Park on Saturday Dec 7 from 8am-1pm. The Christmassy morning will feature boutique stalls, fantastic food, hot coffee and kids’ activities. Word on the street is that Santa may also be putting in an appearance.
The Temple Markets launch on Sunday Dec 15 from 10am-4pm, just in time to fulfil all your Christmas shopping needs. Set in the beautiful – and totally unique – grounds of Priestdale’s Chung Tian Temple, these newbie markets will host a range of boutique stalls, plus music, jewellery, food, drink and cultural performances.
Twilight in the Park Christmas Special
It wouldn’t be Christmas without stacks of food, Christmas movies and a visit from the man in red. And the Twilight in the Park Christmas Special will deliver in spades when it takes over Underwood Park from 4pm-9pm on Friday Dec 20. There’s also a licensed bar, Christmas stalls, and fun kids’ entertainment.
