Best Kids Parks in Brisbane Inner City

You don't have to venture far from the Brisbane CBD to find some great kids' playgrounds. Here's 6 of the best, both within and on the edge of the city:

Riverside Green, South Bank's most popular playground, is a magnet for kids, with river and city views
Brisbane city's enchanted playground can be found in the city’s oldest park – the City Botanic Gardens
The Children's Playground is a series of connected playgrounds featuring climbing nets, sculptures, slides and mini huts and also has a children's vege patch nearby
The iconic playground is known for its fortresses which stretch alongside ancient fig trees as well as a giant climbing net and nature play
Nestled at the base of the Story Bridge’s imposing south pylon is this park with one of the city’s most striking outlooks.
Hidden away atop Teneriffe’s highest (44m) hill is this charming little green domain, overlooking nineteenth century cottage chimneys and the city in one direction and flanked by native bush.

And in a nod to its history, Howard Smith Wharves has a boat playground with sand base, which kids can have fun climbing all over (top image).
